After Drake sampled “Ex-Factor,” Hill returns the favor in concert

Last night, Lauryn Hill was in the middle of performing “Ex-Factor” at New York’s Apollo Theater when she cut the music, fired up the beat to Drake’s “Nice for What”—which samples the song’s hook—and performed her own verses over the top. Hill’s re-remix includes lyrics about a “Balenciaga mama” and the hook, “See this is ‘Ex-Factor’/He took the sample/My shit is classic/Here’s an example.” Watch it go down below.
