After spending close the five months in prison for violating probation, American rapper, Meek Mill regains freedom.<\/p>\n

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered that Meek Mill be granted bail on earlier on Tuesday, directing the judge to release him on \u201cunsecured bail.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank god, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at roc nation including jay-z, desiree perez, my good friend michael rubin, my fans, the pennsylvania supreme court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive.\u201d he said<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the philadelphia district attorney\u2019s office, I\u2019m grateful for your commitment to justice \u2013 not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct.\u201d he added<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough I\u2019m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don\u2019t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues.
